ABOUT
I
became interested in the multimedia industry while I was taking
my Bachelor of Arts degree. I specialized in Visual Arts, taking
art history, painting, and media courses. I enjoyed the media courses
so much that when I completed my degree I wanted to study it further.
I then decided to take Interactive Multimedia at Sheridan College.
Here I learned HTML, Adobe products, Macromedia products, as well
as project management, research into emerging technologies, and
client and team interaction.
Since then I have spent two years in the media industry as a freelancer.
I have developed several new websites and created online branding for
my clients. I am involved in all aspects of the development including
researching the competition, interface design, graphics development, information
architecture, usability testing, and quality assurance. I have also created
manuals and presentations for employee training, as well as promotional
videos, and interactive CDs for clients.
Most
recently I have joined the Canadian Tire Corporate Team as an eLearning Graphic Artist. I love what I do and I enjoy the challenge of working with different
media. |
